My cat Sugar had been peeing all over the house. My dirty laundry, the clothes I need to take to Goodwill, a library book, etc. So I finally decided to get her spayed in the hope that she would stop feeling the need to mark territory everywhere. The vet checked for a urine infection first, nothing. Turned out she was having a false pregnancy and some mammary tumors, which hopefully the spaying will fix.

She kept hiding the day I brought her home from the vet and had me really worried until I went to bed. Then she jumped up and begged for attention like usual. Little sneak was just mad at me and pouting, I think.

I am having some real fun getting the antibiotic into her, though. She won't eat anything but the usual hard cat food and hard treats, no wet cat food. I can't even sneak it in tuna. So I'm having to catch her and squirt it down her throat. I have a lot of tiny scratches on my arm. Fortunately it'll be gone soon.

Medicating cats, always an adventure! Good luck, and hope that helps resolve the pee issues - I had one doing the same thing, but in her case she was getting urinary crystals. Special diet seems to be helping with that, although she still likes to pee on clothes if I leave them on the floor (keeps me tidy at least, lol)
