Sometimes I think one of the best inventions in the world was the gift bag.

Why?

Because I suck at wrapping presents. No matter how much I try, I just can't get a pretty one. Enter the gift bag. Find the right size, wrap the present in tissue, and tape. Add a gift tag and maybe a matching bow. Viola!

So I was wrapping presents, and ran into a boxed gift that would not fit in one.

So I pull out last year's Christmas wrap- and the cats got to it. Tiny shreds throughout.

The I find one of the bags for huge boxes. And, wanting to get this over with, I decided to use it.

It held the box, all right. It was about four times too large. So I wrapped the rest of it around the box, and used an entire roll of decorative tape around it.

By Santa, if I can't make it pretty, I'll at least make it funny. I put a bow on it, too.

I will try to video the unwrapping and post it if it's entertaining enough.

Hey, sounds like a perfect wrap job to me! I worked at a bird seed/bird feeder store long ago where they advertised free gift wrap for purchases, only they never trained me on any sort of gift wrap technique, so one day someone asked to have their purchase gift wrapped and...I wrapped it. It was not a professional job, by any means! XD
