With spending only one day on the yard now, I decided I had time and energy enough to start on the house. I bought some new blinds, and while putting them up, stepped off the stepladder wrong. Boom- strained leg muscle! I can still walk, because it's on the side of my leg and not the back. Otherwise, I'd probably be using a walker like I did with my broken leg a decade or so ago (car accident).
At least I hope that's what the pain means. Had a regular MD appt (just a checkup type) and of course they wanted to know why I was limping. Now I have a ultrasound set up because pain in that part of the body might mean a blood clot-but if I feel better before the appointment, I'll cancel. MD agreed that it was probably just a strained muscle but talked me into the ultrasound just to be sure. Grrr.
