Riding Mower and painting

Well, the riding mower is working out pretty well. Instead of spending three hours a week mowing the grass, I can get most of it done in an hour and fifteen minutes. I still have to use the other mower to get close to the house and under trees, but that's about a half an hour's work or so.

So this week instead of mowing, I've painted the shed and waterproofed the front steps.

Guess what? That was just as much work, and my back hurts a bit right now. Ain't that life?
