Writing issues

It's odd, but ever since I published my book, I've had trouble writing. I hate that.

I really don't know why. I have managed to revise and expand the original world-building story which was only 10,000 word. Got to a stopping place at 47000 words, just short of a novel. I want to go further, to link this story to the sequel I have ideas for, but it just isn't coming.


I've considered going back to fanfiction, but that is not working real well either.

I guess I need to just keep trying, but it's frustrating.

That's so frustrating - I hope you get your writing mojo back! Sometimes I think it just needs time to regenerate. I've been so busy and exhausted between wildlife babies and work and trying to be a little more politically active that my fic-writing brain's been completely out of commission for awhile. It wants to come back though! I feel it glimmering at me with little plot bunnies every now and then when I get a couple days off in a row.
