After all this time, my older son finally found work.
He went to a temp agency and got a job in a factory, doing very simple physical work that pays poorly- but at his age and with his lack of experience, it's actually a very good first time job for him. While physical, the work is not rough enough to exhaust him. The people he works for treat their people decently, and he is working full time.
This is a temp job for now, but might go temp to hire, and therein lies the problem. He is going to school for a kind of job that pays much better- but some work experience would help him find work when he finishes, and classes start in about seven weeks. The classes are in the morning when he is currently working. I want him to get his training, but I don't want him to stop working.
Ah well. It'll work out one way or another.
